welcome
I have put this website together to help people incubate eggs, decide what breed is best and looking after ducks.
I also sell ducklings from day old and hatching eggs from my own ducks through the year.

keeping ducks in the garden has become very popular over the years,  People  keep them for the eggs which are alot richer in taste than chicken eggs, meat which is very tasty or just to brighten up the garden.

Ducks make very good pets they will keep your grass down so no need for a lawn mower just be careful tho they will eat your plants so if you intend to keep ducks I would section them off away from your flower beds, they love eating the insects and are great fun to watch when you are relaxing in the garden on a hot summers day.

Their are quite a few breeds that dont need a pond to swim in,  just enough water in a bowl to wash their eyes and beaks, if you want them to have a pool to splash around one of the kiddies blue rigid plastic apple paddling pools will do just fine.

Some breed of ducks lay more eggs then others, ducks like Aylesburys, Campbell and Indian runners will lay up to 280 a year.

They are really easy to look after as long as they have food, clean water everyday, and a safe place for them to sleep then they will look after oneself and you shouldn't have any problems.
